The Arts and Sciences encompasses over 60 fields of study within three divisions: arts and humanities, natural sciences, and social sciences. Below are examples of a wide range of projects in support of the diversity of the college.

The Have Ya Heard newsletter goes out weekly, and the ACE newsletter goes out once a month. Both designs have evolved and developed over time.

Project descriptions

Direct mail postcards with a reply section for the CU Advancement Department. Five hundred of these postcards went to their donor community on behalf of the College of Arts and Sciences. The campaign raised $10,200 and achieved a 2.2% return rate, surpassing the national average of 1-2% (JWM Business Services).

Website creation led by a team of two for the Hearing Epidemiology and Research Diagnostics (HEARD) Laboratory in the College of Arts and Sciences. Kylie designed the HEARD Lab homepage, taught the lead scientist how to update the website, and created video tutorials for her to reference anytime.
Arts and Sciences homepage revamp: Restructure, reorganize, and develop new content in a visually compelling way to tell a story to the predominant audiences, students, faculty, and alumni.

The Ampersand Podcast is a platform to highlight the incredible work of professors, alumni, and students.
The Buffalo Bicycle Classic supports students by collecting gifts for college scholarships. -
Social media management and strategy for follower, impression, and engagement growth. From 2023 to 2024, the Arts and Science's Instagram followers increased by 54% to more than 2,150, Facebook followers by 17% to more than 2,700, and LinkedIn followers by 69% to more than 850.

A ten-page guidebook with the college's history, achievements, and fundraising opportunities for the Advancement Department.

Created a larger header photo to pull readers in, inspired by the New York Times
Added a preview of the first article to grab readers' attention
Included media-type categories above the article titles
Designed a quote graphic to make the featured article stand out; these external articles feature outstanding Arts and Sciences faculty.
Updated our events section by adding a seasonal calendar graphic with four options below and audience information
Revamped the ad space to match the diversion visual language
Redesigned the diversion section, including the 'forever loop' banner, which involved utilizing After Effects

Created visual consistency and condensed information throughout the newsletter so it was efficient for viewers to understand and click through

For the College of Arts and Sciences, Kylie has taken a wide variety of photography. She has attended graduations, classes, fundraisers, conventions, and more. Her photos are featured in the Colorado Arts and Sciences Magazine, the Arts and Sciences print magazine, social media and more.
