Context: UCSD game-day graphics, like those below, were regularly distributed through social media, offering crucial information about game schedules. The following graphics maintained the brand's visual identity. All graphics employed Photoshop artboards and smart objects to streamline production.

UCSD game-day graphics, like the one above went out weekly, or sometimes, daily.
Game-day graphics deliver information about when and where games are happening each week via social media (X, Instagram, and Facebook). Essential information sits above the team logos.
Graphics repeat the brand's visual identity which displays a watercolor textured background, a student cutout, the UCSD fonts and colors, and the sound wave.
Grey background graphics represented home games, and dark blue background graphics represented away games.
Game-day graphics are small but laborious projects. With Photoshop Artboards and smart objects, the process can produce multiple graphics of different sizes with the same information. This process eliminates plugging in the same information again and
Athlete of the Week graphics went out once a week. Each graphic was created on the hour that the athletes were selected. This format was posted to Twitter.
Athletes of the Week graphics were posted to Instagram stories, highlighting multiple athletes, one after the other.
This Athlete of the Week graphic was added to Instagram as a carousel post along with other Athletes of the Week.
U.Care philanthropy campaign graphics were used to raise money for UC San Diego Athletics. Their visual identity was more closely tied to the main campus brand while still tying in elements from athletics.
The Trolley Series campaign encouraged students to take the trolley from UC San Diego to San Diego State University. The logo font treatment mimics previous baseball word treatments. The lockup is connected to Triton Tide to indicate that it's a stud
Ad campaigns for ticket sales went out at the beginning of the season. Graphics in this format were posted to Instagram Stories.
Know Before You Go graphics were posted on social media and the main athletics website, and printed as handouts. This visual language repeats the watercolor theme. This was an earlier design before defining the exact look and feel of the game-day gra
Apparel design was a frequent need as t-shirts, hats, and stickers were always in demand. The graphic above was presented to the directors of athletics, art, and marketing before sending the art files to production.
This hat mockup represents the growing need to support and represent the queer community on campus. The hat was produced and given out at a Pride baseball event.
2022 Home Schedule graphics were printed on a magnet for season pass holders.
